 Welcome to Burger Quest Glasgow. My name is Joey, and I am a third year student studying International Business at Strathclyde University. This year, as part of my assignment I will be posting blogs weekly containing reviews and critiques of different burgers around Glasgow. As people close to me know, I am very passionate about food, and overall outdoor dining experiences and have been lucky enough to grow up in a household who take cooking and, even more so eating, extremely serious. The lucky burger joints that have been selected for this blog are scored on the following; Taste, Value, and Service and Ambience. RATINGS SERVICE AND AMBIANCE: 6.7/10 TASTE: 7.5/10 VALUE: 9/10 Service and ambience (Popeyes, Sauchiehall Street) The restaurant has an energetic feel, stepping in you are immediately blinded by its excessive uses of luminous orange and bright baby blue. It's all very cliched 'American South', but it works. It's simple, in your face and extremely family- friendly. There are plenty seats, booths and regular tables but unfortunatley, due to the sheer amount of customers or lack of staff, they are often dirty, ridden with the reminants of the last eaters' breadcrumbs.   RATINGS SERVICE AND AMBIANCE: 4.6/10 TASTE: 7/10 VALUE: 8.5/10 SERVICE AND AMBIANCE: 4.6/10 (Clear Menu) Now, it is with a heavy heart that I have to give Raja’s such a poor score for service and ambiance, as it is my local burger place that has been a staple within my friendship group for many years. The service though, is nothing short of terrible. I recently went back after a long time to do this review and even phoned in advance with my order so that it would be snappy. The man of few words over the phone said that the food would be 15-20 minutes. Okay perfect, ill watch 20 minutes of YouTube then head down (I’m round the corner). Upon arriving, there was no one in front of me at the counter, only a few boys already sat with their food. Chilos, West End

  RATINGS SERVICE AND AMBIENCE: 8.8 TASTE: 8.5/10 VALUE: 9.2/10 SERVICE AND AMBIANCE: 8.8/10 The restaurant more or less ticks all the boxes needed for a fast food restaurant. The interior is predominantly black and white with stylish, but simple, décor striking a balance between trendy and welcoming. When I went it was a around 9pm so there was lots of seats available and the service was immediate and very friendly. The woman behind the counter explained the ordering process and there was even a guide on the wall to make it even clearer. I can imagine at busier times the service wouldn’t be as good, as there is no self-service machines, which could result in increased wait times for customers, but my experience was very positive.
