I ordered the ‘famous’ California Burger, which had two
smashed patties topped with turkey rashers, added melted cheese, a toasted bun
with signature burger sauce, gherkins, shredded lettuce, caramelised onions and
a sweet chilli jam. I know that this looks like a lot, and it is, but the
different flavours really REALLY complement the burger, leaving a sweet but
epic taste in your mouths. The caramelised onions partnered with the sweet
chilli jam give the patties an amazing side of sweetness, which is so necessary
for such a meaty burger. I recommend further dipping this bad boy in a garlic
dip for an absolute poetic experience. Having said all that, the second half of
the burger is quite a lot less enjoyable as the first as it is just SO much,
but they definitely have mastered the combination of flavours so kudos to them.
VALUE: 8/10
The California Burger was priced as £11.50 on its own, but an extra £3.50 with the fries, dip and choice of drink. For a takeaway burger, yes this is expensive but due to the portions size and overall quality of the burger, Three Brothers earns its 8/10 rating for value. You could obviously compare the prices to the likes of McDonald’s and say that £15 for a Burger meal is preposterous, but the simple fact is that is what you are going to pay for good quality bussin burger.
I once had a burger there and it was super tasty but a bit pricey. Thanks for the review.
